Acaime is a natural reserve located at 2,690Mts A.S.L. or 8,825Feet A.S.L.. You can get to this place by walking or by horse. It is a wonderful experience because you will have to walk through a fog forest full of wax palm trees, creeks and rivers and suspension bridges.

To take this hike, we recommend you to bring comfortable clothes, a lot of water and hicking shoes or even boots for the rainy season. You must keep in mind that the round trip will last approximately 5 hours, 4 of which will be walking.

Once you arrive at the reserve, you can marvel at more than 15 species of hummingbirds that fly fearless just inches away from visitors.
