Lumbre Glamorous Camping is a Glamping Luxury Hotel located in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes that has been named as World Heritage: the Cocora Valley in Salento, Quindío (belonging to the Coffee Cultural Landscape). Here, you will sleep under millions of stars in rooms designed for you to have a unique experience in direct contact with nature.

We emphasize on the direct enjoyment of nature, the well-being produced by the environment and a complete escape from the every-day life. Here you can enjoy waking up with the singing of birds and being surrounded by the world’s largest palm tree, the wax palm tree, with all the comforts of a luxury hotel.

Since our commitment is to give you a unique experience, our services are personalized. You can book your room with “All Inclusive” services and our chefs will design a menu exclusively for your tastes and needs. You can also book different activities to make the most of your stay and get to know the Colombian Coffee Trail.

By Plane:

To get to Lumbre Glamorous Camping you can flight to Armenia, Pereira, Manizales or Cali. From these airports, you can take transportation to Salento and follow the map directions below. If you require transportation from the airport to our hotel, let us know and we will go for you.

By Car:

From Bogotá: Upon arriving in Calarcá, follow the signs to take the road to Pereira. Once you reach the main road Armenia – Pereira (Coffe Highway or Autopista del Café), drive on it until you reach the detour to Salento. Once in Salento, follow the indications in the map below.

From Pereira or Medellín: Take the Pereira – Armenia road (Coffee Highway or Autopista del Café) until you reach the detour to Salento. Once in Salento, follow the indications in the map below.

From Cali: Take the road to Armenia. Cross the city from South to North to take the road to Pereira. Once you reach the main road Armenia – Pereira (Coffe Highway or Autopista del Café), take the detour to Salento. Once in Salento, follow the indications in the map below.

When you get to Salento, take the road Valle de Cocora – Salento for 7,5 km, where you will find Lumbre Glamorous Camping Sign on the left. If you do not go by car, in the main square of Salento you can take a Jeep Wilis that departs every 15 minutes. If you prefer, contact us in advance and we will pick you up in Salento.

Some Recommendations

for your Stay:

Since Lumbre Glamorous Camping is located in the Cocora Valley at an altitude of 2,200Mts A.S.L. or 7,218 ft A.S.L. and the average temperature is 15°C or 59°F, we recommend you to bring warm clothes because nights can get really cold. Even if your room will have a hot beverages station and heater, it is important that you are well covered.

The Corora Valley is World Heritage because of its beautiful landscapes and Lumbre is located in the middle of it. This valley is surrounded by forests, wax palm trees, hummingbirds, deer, bears and Andean Condors among many other species of animals, flowers and trees. Because of this, we ask you to help us take care of nature by turning your lights out at 10pm, avoiding loud noises and minimizing your water usage since we share this beautiful space and resources with these amazing species and we must not interfere with their natural cycles.

Our check-in is made from 3pm until 8:30 pm as the maximum time of delivery of the rooms and check-out is at 11:30am. We do not have late check-out therefore when the room is not delivered at 11:30am will incur a penalty fee.
